Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Sarah has full knowledge in treating Urinary leakage/incontinence, Pain with Sex (dyspareunia), Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and many other Pelvic Pain diagnoses. She looks at how the pelvic floor relates to the entire body and merges her orthopedic expertise with the pelvic floor and women’s health practice.

Pre and Post Partum Physical Therapy

Sarah is extremely passionate about the period before and after pregnancy and the lack of information and support given to women to prevent issues and pain. These issues can last for years or never resolve if not addressed. The response often given to a pregnant or post partum mother with dysfunction or pain is other “that’s normal”. This response is simply unacceptable, and there can always be something done to address pain and discomfort.  Often times physical therapy can prevent many issues from even occurring. Common issues include but aren’t limited to: Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation), SI joint Dysfunction, Hip Pain, Lower Back Pain and Pubic Symphysis Diastasis (Pubic Bone Separation)
